Assalamun alaikum everyone,

I’ve teamed up with SKT Welfare, a charity that supports vulnerable communities, including orphans and widows, helping them build better futures and alleviate poverty and suffering around the globe.

I’m raising funds specifically for food parcels for Palestinian and Syrian families seeking refuge in Jordan. Each food parcel costs £40 and feeds a family of five for an entire month.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together.  

أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ، فِي الْجَنَّةِ هَكَذَا

- Sahih al-Bukhari 6005

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allah's Cause." (The narrator Al-Qa'nabi is not sure whether he also said "Like the one who prays all the night without slackness and fasts continuously and never breaks his fast.")

السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ يَشُكُّ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ كَالْقَائِمِ لَا يَفْتُرُ وَكَالصَّائِمِ لَا يُفْطِرُ.‏

- Sahih al-Bukhari 6007

SKT Welfare has a 100% donation policy, meaning every penny donated goes directly to the charity, and none goes to me. Donations are also Zakaat applicable.

Please remember, no amount is too small — even 50p or £1 holds weight. It’s not about the quantity, but the niyyah behind it.

I’m sharing this with sincere intentions, hoping Allah allows us to be a means of ease for others. May Allah reward us all for our efforts and accept our intentions. Ameen
