I am preparing to travel to Jordan to take part in a humanitarian aid mission supporting displaced Palestinian families, many of whom have been forced from their homes and are living with immense loss and uncertainty. This mission will focus on caring and providing much-needed medical assistance to families who have been deeply affected by the ongoing war.This deployment is deeply personal to me and rooted in a long-standing desire to help people who are facing unimaginable hardship. Being on the ground allows me to feel that I am not just watching suffering from afar, but actively doing something to support families who urgently need compassion, care, and dignity. This is something I have carried in my heart for a long time.

What is happening in Syria and Palestine is deeply upsetting and unjust, and while I cannot change the entire system, I can show up—with my skills, my compassion, and my commitment to helping those who need it most. Through this deployment, I hope to contribute in a meaningful way, guided by empathy and a genuine commitment to serving those who have lost so much.

Through SKT Welfare, which operates a 100% donation policy, every penny raised goes directly toward helping these families. Each food parcel costs £40 and provides enough food to feed a family of five for a month. *Zakaat Applicable*
