Ramadan Kareem!
This Ramadan, I’m taking on a personal elevation challenge:
over the course of the month, I will attempt to climb the total height of Mount Everest (8,849 metres).
This won’t be a single climb, but a cumulative effort throughout Ramadan, gaining elevation through stair master climbs, incline treadmill walks, climbing tall buildings, hills, and other elevation-based training.
Alongside the physical challenge, I am aiming to raise £1,062, which is equivalent to providing 8,849 litres of clean water to families in Gaza.
Every day, the people of Gaza are forced to survive on contaminated water.
Ongoing bombardments have destroyed sewage networks, causing water supplies to become flooded with dangerous contaminants.
Currently, less than 4% of Gaza’s water is drinkable, leaving thousands of families without safe access to clean water.
Without clean water, people face a high risk of disease, hospitalisation, or even death. This risk is made even more severe by the destruction of hospitals and healthcare facilities. Providing safe drinking water is therefore essential to preventing further loss of life and supporting Gaza’s future recovery.
Your donation will support SKT Welfare’s water appeal, providing clean, life-saving water to families in Gaza who urgently need it.
Every contribution, whether by donating or sharing helps turn this challenge into tangible support for people facing unimaginable conditions. SKT's 100% donation policy means that every penny you donate is used in the delivery of humanitarian projects and directly related costs. Indirect and administrative costs are covered by either direct donations themselves or by using Gift Aid.
Thank you for your support!

Best of luck Sarah!! ❤️
May Allah (SWT) grant you the strength and resilience to see this challenge through.
