Hi,
My name is Raeesah and I will be taking on a rewarding challenge with SKT Welfare — hiking Whernside, the highest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, standing proudly at around 736 metres. This trek is roughly 8 miles long and takes us through rolling moorland, rocky paths, and stunning ridges, offering breathtaking views across the Yorkshire Dales. It’s a moderately challenging route that requires determination, stamina, and heart — and I’m doing it to raise funds for our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
The hike will take place on Wednesday, 29th October, and every step I take will be in solidarity with the people of Gaza, who continue to face unimaginable hardship. SKT Welfare operates with a 100% donation policy, meaning every penny raised goes directly to those in need — providing life-saving support such as emergency aid, food, clean water, and medical care. We’ll pause halfway through the hike to reflect and take in the beauty around us, before continuing toward the summit — just as the people of Gaza push forward each day with strength and resilience.
May Allah ease their suffering and accept every effort made to support them. Please support me in raising funds — your generosity, no matter how small, can help bring real relief and hope.
Our 100% Donation Policy means that every penny you donate is used in the delivery of humanitarian projects and directly related costs. Indirect and administrative costs are covered by either direct donations themselves or by using Gift Aid.
