I'm volunteering with SKT Welfare to support Syrian refugees in need at Jadraya Camp in Turkey.

Why am I fundraising?

Since the Syrian civil war in 2011, over 14 million Syrians have been displaced, making it one of the largest refugee crises in recent history. Many of the refugees have lost their homes, livelihoods, live in poor conditions and are suffering with severe psychological scars and trauma, especially the children.

These funds will be used to pay for the food parcels we will be packing and distributing in Syrian refugee camps this October. Every donation will be going to the cause and not a penny will be used on admin or travel as we cover our own costs.

Who are SKT Welfare?

Over the past decade, they have provided urgent aid and sustainable relief to millions of disadvantaged people across the globe. Their projects focus on emergency relief, food, water, healthcare, education, orphan care and seasonal aid, such as winter emergency response. They serve some of the most vulnerable people in the world; those affected - through no fault of their own - by conflict, poverty and natural disasters.
