Tens of thousands of South Sudanese refugees now live in settlements across northern Uganda after fleeing war, famine, and repeated displacement. In places like Rhino Camp, families are still waiting for stability but hunger remains a daily struggle that erodes both health and hope.
SKT Welfare’s community kitchen provides over 1,600 hot meals every month, reaching those most vulnerable: children, widowed mothers, the elderly, and those with no access to food rations. A warm meal brings comfort where there’s been none. It reminds families who’ve endured so much that they are still seen, still supported, and most importantly, not alone.
