I’m fundraising for SKT Welfare because their work genuinely changes lives. They support vulnerable families across the world — especially orphans and widows — helping them move from survival to stability and dignity. With their 100% donation policy, every contribution goes straight to the people who need relief the most, and that’s exactly the kind of impact I want to be part of.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked which charity is best and he replied: “Providing water.” — Sunan Abu Dawud (1687). He ﷺ also said: “When a person dies, his deeds end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” — Sahih Muslim (1631). Because of this, scholars explain that wells and water pumps are a form of ongoing charity — families continue drinking, cooking, and living through it long after we are gone.
The Prophet ﷺ also told of a man who gave water to a dying dog and was forgiven by Allah — Sahih al-Bukhari (2363) and Sahih Muslim (2244). If compassion shown by relieving an animal’s thirst can earn forgiveness, then giving clean water to entire households is among the greatest acts of mercy. That is why I want to help build water sources — not just to donate, but to leave behind something that keeps easing hardship for families every single day.
Our 100% Donation Policy means that every penny you donate is used in the delivery of humanitarian projects and directly related costs. Indirect and administrative costs are covered by either direct donations themselves or by using Gift Aid.
