Insh'Allah (God willing) on Sunday 9th May 2021 I will be running my 8^th Annual Ramadan 10K Run (whilst FASTING ALMOST 18 Hours). Yes, I know sounds crazy with no food or drink!

I am doing it in aid of SKT Welfare’s (100% Donation Policy) ‘Safe Haven Project’ in which internally displaced Syrian refugees (Widows, Orphans, Disabled & Elderly) are being moved from makeshift tents to safe & secure new 2 room homes including a bathroom, kitchen & access to clean water. These homes will provide protection from the harsh winters & summer heat as well as improving lives with a clean place to live & help to fight off death from diseases.

EACH HOMES COSTS JUST £1,250 (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) & donors will receive full feedback (personalised plaque, either pictures or videos & beneficiary background details). These homes are being built in safe villages in Northern Syria & will include a Masjid, school, women’s safe space & will be close to SKT’s hospital which has been running since 2014. The Syrian civil war has been raging for 10 years now with no sign of ending with millions internally & externally displaced. Homes & countless lives have been destroyed. Insh’Allah I am hoping with YOUR SUPPORT to raise at least £25,000 so that we can build 20 new homes for vulnerable Syrian refugee families.

I have worked with SKT which is a very experienced registered charity for 10 years now on a number of projects over the last 6 years & have personally witnessed their projects on the ground on the Turkish/Syrian border, Bangladesh (Rohingya) as well as UK initiatives.

For over 23 years I have Alhamdulillah been at the forefront of community & humanitarian initiatives at the local, national and international levels receiving national awards in the process. I have distributed in person Aid to the Turkey/Syria border on 7 occasions, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Iraqi refugees in war torn Mosul (Iraq), poverty stricken Malawi and to refugees in France & Belgium all in the last 5 years. In addition, I have Alhamdulillah fundraised almost £53,000 from my 2020 Ramadan 10k Run and project managed 116 house transformation in Malawi & provided full video feedback for each house.
