We are Sabha, Zahraa and Adam, aged 10, 8 and 6. We are working with SKT Welfare to raise funds for the people of Gaza so they can have access to clean and safe water.
Gaza is facing a water crisis. Over 97 percent of the water there is unsafe to drink, and many families are forced to drink dirty water that can make them very ill. Without clean water, children and adults are suffering from serious diseases like diarrhoea and typhoid.
We might be young, but we know that clean water is something every human being deserves. That’s why we’re coming together as a family to help.
SKT Welfare is working hard on the ground in Gaza to deliver clean water every day. Through their Water Truck project, they provide 28,500 litres of fresh, drinkable water daily to the people who need it most. This costs about £3,000 each day to run, but it saves lives.
They also run a Water Tanker programme that helps deliver around 4,000 litres of clean water at a time, enough for entire families to survive on. And when it’s possible, SKT Welfare supports large desalination plants that clean sea water, producing up to 180,000 litres of fresh water each day for hospitals and families.
Every drop makes a difference. Every donation brings hope.
SKT Welfare also has a 100 percent donation policy, which means every penny we raise goes directly to helping the people of Gaza. None of it is used for admin costs or anything else.
Please support our cause and help us make sure families in Gaza can have what we all take for granted — clean water.
most.
May Allah bless you always may this reach those who need it Ameen
Our 100% Donation Policy means that every penny you donate is used in the delivery of humanitarian projects and directly related costs. Indirect and administrative costs are covered by either direct donations themselves or by using Gift Aid.
