Covid-19 related deaths have been on the increase within the community, with the numbers unfortunately expected to rise during the second nationwide lockdown. Many people are financially struggling to bury their loved ones and unfortunately there are also many deceased who do not have anyone to cover their funeral expenses.
A typical funeral can cost anything from £3500 through commercial funeral directors which covers all aspects related to a funeral service from the moment the person passes away to the burial itself.
Sadaqah Jariyah Funeral Service is a non-profit organisation with a non-profit organisation with the sole intention of helping members of the community, in their time of need as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah; a continuous charity benefiting the deceased and their families. “In Kirklees, April-October has seen an increase of 150 deaths on a 5 year average.”
