I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit and provide aid to the the Syrian refugees in Turkey this December.

They’ve already faced many difficulties having left their homes in war-torn Syria, and since have also become victims to the earthquakes that happened earlier this year in Turkey.

During the deployment I will be hand delivering food packs to homes, schools and orphan care facilities. This will allow me to spend time with the beneficiaries and see, first-hand, the real, tangible difference that humanitarian aid delivery can make, and understand the challenges faced by our Syrian brothers and sisters.

 I’m raising funds for SKT Welfare because I care about the great work they’re doing to alleviate poverty and suffering around the globe. SKT work with marginalised and vulnerable communities including orphans and widows to help them build better futures.
