Assalamualaikum, after my first deployment to the Syrian border in aid of refugees, I will now be travelling to Lebanon just as the blessed month of Ramadan begins. I will be visiting Syrian, Palestinian and Lebanese camps & Orphans families to distribute food parcels.

More than 70% of the families in Lebanon's camps live below the poverty line and over 50% of those are below the age of 18, which means that millions of children are growing up being exposed to nothing but conflict, hardship, and poverty.

Additionally, Lebanon hosts one of the largest populations of Syrian & Palestinian refugees, with over 1.5 million people housed in precarious living arrangements with no heating, electricity, or running water making it one of the worse economic crisis since 19th century. 

As a Muslim it is our duty to help those in need in whatever way we can.
