Alhamdulillah, I am honoured to be joining SKT Welfare’s Jordan Deployment, where I will deliver vital aid to Palestinian and Syrian refugees living in Jordan.

Many families have been displaced by conflict, losing their homes, livelihoods, dignity and security. 

During this trip, I will be hands on and working alongside the SKT Welfare team to pack and deliver vital aid. More so, based on previous SKT Welfare deployments, I will be going out to reach families living in tents, refugee camps, visiting hospitals and orphanages to provide critical aid. Alongside this, we plan to arrange simple activities for injured and orphaned children to help them feel human and still valued.

For transparency, here are the costs associated with this initiative:

• Flights – self-funded

• Accommodation, transport on the ground, living expenses & meals – self-funded 

• Large consignment of essential food parcels (including rice, flours, beans etc) for families in need – funded through donations collected (£5,000 target). 

I plan to personally hand deliver at least 125 food parcels.  Each parcel costs £40 and feeds a family of 5 for an entire month.
