Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The wealth of a servant of Allah will not be decreased by charity" (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2325). 

Asalamualaikum dear brothers, sisters, friends and family.

Alhamdullilah as Muslims we understand the significance of Sadaqah and Zakat, the former being one of the pillars of our faith. It's a call to action, urging us to extend our hands in charity. This noble principle has been ingrained in me since childhood, nurtured by the teachings of my parents and the supportive community around me. Now, I'm blessed with the opportunity to translate this belief into action, physically participating in providing aid. The prospect fills me with immense excitement and gratitude, knowing that I'll have the privilege of directly delivering assistance to those in need. While my journey begins in October, I recognize that Ramadan, the month of generosity, offers an ideal opportunity for charitable giving. Thus, I extend this invitation to join me on this journey of compassion, where every contribution, large or small, holds profound significance. In addition, this trip is 100% zakatable and SKT has a 100% donation policy so this will ensure that every penny of funds raised will go to the cause.

The goal of this fundraising effort is to raise £2,000, which will directly fund food parcels for Syrian refugees in Turkey, particularly in Reyhanli, near the Syrian border. These parcels will reach homes, schools, and orphan care facilities, offering vital sustenance and hope to those facing immense challenges. Your generosity will play a crucial role in alleviating their suffering and providing them with a sense of dignity and security.

For those who are unable to contribute financially, I kindly request your prayers for a safe and successful journey. Additionally, if you could share this message with others who may be able to support this cause, it would be deeply appreciated.
