Feeling so 'Blessed'!!!! Following last year's successful trip to Dhaka and Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh. I am returning next month.
Last November l personally helped to distribute 30Kg food sacks. In the 3 visits to the Rohingya Refugee camps with SKT welfare, we distributed over 8000 food sacks in total.
We fed the street children in Dhaka, a sad but truly amazing experience. SKT also visited 1 Orphanage in Dhaka to serve hot food.
This year we will be visiting the camps again but feeding Orphans in Cox Bazaar.
To fundraise for this trip l will be completing a '101 mile' Triathlon. Starting in Redbook reservoir, West Yorkshire for a 1-mile swim then a 76-mile cycle to Old Trafford, Manchester onto Kidsgrove, Staffordshire back up through Holmes Chapel, Cheshire south of Alderley Edge to start a 26-mile run back into Oldham, Manchester InShaAllah.
SKT Welfare is a charity l hold close to my heart, I've worked with them for years now. The most important part for me is SKT’s 100% donations policy.
I encourage those who can donate to this cause to do so generously. It's heartwarming to know that each donation will directly contribute to feeding families in need and that even a small contribution can make a significant impact.
