STOP IGNORING YEMEN!

About Yemen

Yemen is a country at the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 24 million people some 80 per cent of the population in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children. Since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children.

What’s happening in Yemen?

‪Yemen is currently facing ongoing war, cholera, famine, and now a fast expanding coronavirus outbreak. Making matters worse, the global pandemic has stifled aid funding and on top of that Yemen has been in a civil war since 2015. There were more than 23,000 fatalities reported just in 2019.‬

‪what about the children?

Every 10 minutes a child dies in Yemen from Saudi attacks, hunger and disease. 2 million people are malnourished and 360,000 children under the age of five are struggling to survive.

Don’t let yourself be shielded from what is going on in the world. You have the right to know what is going on and you have the right to make a change!

I will be selling some clothes on depop and all the funds I make from that will be donated on here.

I’m raising funds for SKT Welfare because I really care about the great work they’re doing to alleviate poverty and suffering around the globe. SKT work with marginalised and vulnerable communities including with orphans and widows to help them build better futures. With their 100% donation policy, you can rest assured that every penny of your donation will go directly to those who need it most.
