Asalaamu alaikum, 

My name is Ali and this December, I have the honour of travelling to Jordan on a huminitarian aid deployment with SKT Welfare. Our mission is simple but incredibly important- to deliver essential aid directly into the hands of Palestinian and Syrian refugees who are struggling everyday to survive under unimaginable conditions. 

These are families who have fled war, persecution and hardship. Many of them have been living in refugee camps for years with limited access to food, medical care or even basic necessities. This deployment is a chance for us to remind them that they are not forgotten. 

With SKT Welfare's 100% donation policy, every single penny you donate will go directly towards the aid we will distribute. 

During the deployment, we will.

Visit several refugee camps to hand deliver life-saving food boxes.

Prepare and serve hot meals for orphaned children many of whom rarely experience this level of care and attention.

Distribute toys and gifts to bring even a small moment of joy to children who have seen far too much pain in their short lives.

The prophet said 'The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be toegther in Paradise like this' - and he held his two fingers together. (Sahih al Bukhari)
