Pakistan Floods

Other

More than 170 lives lost. Over half of them children.

Torrential monsoon rains have once again triggered catastrophe in Pakistan. Flash floods have swept through entire towns in Punjab and Sindh, collapsing homes, displacing communities and claiming over 170 lives, more than half of them children.

Entire communities have been cut off. Rescue boats are now navigating urban streets. Military helicopters are airlifting families trapped on rooftops. And with more rainfall forecast, the danger is far from over.

This is not just a weather event. It is the face of a deepening climate crisis, one that Pakistan did not cause, yet bears the brunt of.

SKT Welfare is launching a Pakistan Flood Emergency Fund to respond immediately.

What’s Happening?

  • Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the worst hit, with Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Swat among the most affected districts.
  • Torrential rains and cloudbursts have caused buildings to collapse and roads to disappear.
  • Thousands of families are now living without access to clean water, food or medical care.
  • Children face the highest risk—both from drowning and from deadly waterborne diseases like malaria, cholera and dysentery.

Our Response

With your support, we are delivering:

  • Emergency food parcels to families who’ve lost everything
  • Medical supplies to treat injuries and prevent outbreaks
  • Shelter kits and temporary housing for those displaced by the floods

We are working with trusted partners on the ground to rapidly reach the most vulnerable.
