In Turkey, refugee orphans from Shaam live in our Springs of Hope Family Centre in Rehyanli. Many of these children are living with their siblings and their mothers, but have lost their fathers in the conflict. We strive to keep families together to ensure children grow up with love, familiarity and stability. Children with no family live in the Family Centre with everything they need and supported by our expert, trained and qualified staff.
Your donation will be used as a form of collective support for the children. We do not operate an individual sponsorship model and seek to continuously improve the support for the children we protect and care for.
Many orphans in Shaam have seen more than any child should. From fleeing the devastating conflict in places such as Idlib and Aleppo, to starting up a new life in Turkey, these children have been exposed to extreme violence, psychological and emotional distress, and varying forms of exploitation. If something isn’t done, these innocent orphans from Shaam will continue to spend their childhoods suffering through no fault of their own.

At our Springs of Hope Family Centre, the children have everything they need. They receive three home-cooked nutritious meals everyday, new clothes, access to quality health, dental and eyecare, have spaces to study and learn, as well as spaces to play and relax. Orphan children are also able to attend our Qur’an school nearby where they can read, learn and memorize the Qur’an and the Arabic language, as well as receive education on etiquettes, seerah and Islamic history. For many vulnerable orphans in Shaam, this is a great way for them to stay connected to their own roots and heritage.
