In Myanmar, whole villages were burned to the ground and a whole host of atrocities were committed against the Rohingya people.
Families fled to Bangladesh with hope for a better future. But in Cox’s Bazar living conditions are overcrowded and Rohingya refugees are completely dependent upon aid to survive. 20% of Rohingya children under the age of 5 are malnourished, with 12% of these children, facing long-term, serious effects to their health.
I’m raising funds for SKT Welfare because I really care about the work they’re doing to alleviate poverty and suffering for the Rohingya people and want to get involved directly aiding those in desperate need.
