THIS IS AN EMERGENCY APPEAL

As you may be aware, Turkey, Syria and other affected areas have suffered a multitude of high magnitude earthquakes with death toll rising as more bodies are discovered. These have unfortunately hit some of the most poorest of areas where majority of the people staying there are refugees, already in suffering. Just an idea of some of the casualties we are talking about: 

- Earthquake has been revised up to 7.7
- 1300 deceased
- 5,386 injured
- 2,470 rescued
- 2,818 destroyed buildings

Please continue donating as the the rest of the funds will go towards helping those affected by this calamity. SKT is currently assessing the situation and will be looking towards providing assistance to those that are affected from this. Please donate URGENTLY. The situation is dire and these people need to be helped as soon as possible.

Following on from my previous deployment in October, I am once again raising funds to help deliver aid for the Syrian refugees. During my time near the border, I witnessed many adults and children in dire need of basic essential items. Some were walking on rough ground barefoot whilst others lacked items such as food, water, clothing and even shelter. The refugee camps have families with young children living under tarpaulin covers as their permanent residence, of which these will suffer the most during the upcoming winter months.

Your donations will be used to create food parcels for those that need it the most. A donation as little as £50 provides ingredients to feed a family of 4 for a month. The parcels we pack will contain essential items such as rice, flour, lentils, peas oil, bulgur, etc.

These parcels are then distributed at multiple places such as the refugee camps, the orphange and villages.

As I will depart during the cold winter months, I will also be taking a handful of warm clothing items to help the adults and children get through the harsh conditions. Let me know if you would like to contribute to this also.
