السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
Over the past few years, many people in Syria have been suffering from a severe shortage of clean water supplies due to climate change and war conflicts. According to Al-Jazeera (2021), more than five million people in Syria are mainly depending on the Euphrates (Syria's longest river) for their water sources, however, because of the climate crisis, the water in the Euphrates has decreased to a critically low level.
This is where our role comes in to help our brothers and sisters in Syria. In Shaa Allah, I will be climbing mount Snowdon on 26th November with USIC to raise money for SKT welfare for a safe water village in Syria. The total cost is £91k for a water system & water supply for an entire village which will supply clean water for 50+ years to 250 homes, a mosque and madrassa, a school, and a local SKT hospital.
SKT has a 100% donation policy so every penny of your donation will go directly to those who need it most.
