THE JOYS AND REWARDS OF FEEDING THE FASTING OVER RAMADAN

Learn what the Prophet (saw) taught us about feeding those who fast, and spread smiles by giving a Food Pack in time for Ramadan.

How do you feel when you break your fasts over Ramadan?

Thankful? Relieved? Overjoyed?

How about worried? Ashamed? Depressed?

As we spend our days dreaming up delicious Iftar feasts, millions of people in our global ummah are worrying that they may not have enough food to eat anything at all when the sun goes down. But we are all one global community, and we cannot feast whilst our brothers go hungry.

A £50 Food Pack could feed an entire family throughout the month of Ramadan.

Feed the fasting in time for Ramadan, and read on to find out what the Prophet (saw) taught us about the abundant blessings of feeding those who fast.

FEED THE FASTING

Feed the fasting, multiply your rewards

Whilst we all know about the happiness and relief we could spread to those in need by providing food over Ramadan, many of us are unaware of the Prophet’s (saw) teachings about feeding the fasting.

When a person asked the Prophet (saw) what the best deeds are in Islam, He said: “To feed the poor and greet those who you know and those who you don’t know.” [Bukhari]

So, the Messenger (saw) described feeding the poor as one of the best deeds in Islam, and He spoke extremely highly of feeding the fasting – how much more favourably would He look upon us for feeding someone who is poor and fasting?

Feeding the fasting over Ramadan is even closer to the Prophet’s (saw) heart than providing food to those in need over the other months of the year – so when you feed the fasting, you are not only spreading joy to those in need, you are also gaining countless rewards for yourself.

FEED THE FASTING

Give joy this Ramadan

Donate now, and we’ll make sure that your food aid arrives in impoverished communities ahead of the Holy Month. Just £50 could help a father feed his child, and a mother break her fast.

Thanks to our 100% Zakat Policy, you can be sure that 100% of your donation will go directly to providing nutritious food to people in extreme need.

Give a Food Pack, in the name of Allah (swt), so that we can all share in His rewards and break our fasts with joy.

We will be able to think of each other, halfway across the world, and smile.
